This is a nice welcome center. People were very nice and there was plenty of parking and ample bathrooms for the amount of people that were visiting. I drove in to here a couple days before Thanksgiving, so it was a heavier traffic time.
A nice clean area to take a break from travelling to stretch your feet. The facilities and the grounds are very well maintained. There is ample parking for cars, semis and rvs alike. Very safe.
A very friendly knowledgeable volunteer, informed us that there were no hotel rooms anywhere along I-95 anywhere in Georgia she found a room for us in Columbus Georgia and rerouted us. And made a reservation for a room. Because of her rerouting we were able to avoid Atlanta and Nashville traffic. I'm very grateful to the staff of the Georgia Welcome Center
Stopped here on our way up to Atlanta. Overall the stop area was nice and had a few neat posters and cut-outs of recently filmed movies and tv shows. The only downside was the large amount of ant hills along the picnic area that had us constantly dodging our young daughter around.
