Don't EVER be an owner op with your own truck and trailer and try to drop a load here and expect to get your trailer back in a timely manner. Dropped last Tuesday ON TIME and they STILL haven't unloaded it yet. NEVER AGAIN will we come here! They are so damned incompetent between the broker and the their office, that they can't get one simple trailer unloaded! My patience is wearing very thin, and the money that they're paying us to sit here and wait isn't worth it!!
Smh , TOOOO MANY people at the guard shack and Not a single one KNOWS exactly what they are doing!! I delievered here ON TIME..took 15-20mins to get to the shack. Was handed a receipt after answering generic questions from the BOL (shrugs* whatever) guy tells me "this is where your dropping your trailer AND if you need an empty..it is off site and once you return from your spot we will provide directions" .....OKAY (boom) This was first and LAST delivery I will do for home depot until they check their over compensated incompetent lethargic disconsolant excuse for a professional team !
Middle of the night and 20 trucks at the gate because "guards" walk all around the trucks together chatting while do zero work. If I run out of time at the gate I will sleep here. I don't even....
I've been working there for a year. Its a decent job.
Takes the guards FOREVER to get you thru the gate and I don't understand why when there's a team of at least 6 of them for 2 lanes of trucks.
It's been a 1/2 hour and I'm still not thru the gate.
