We moved to the area 2 months ago. We've gone to th Farmhouse several times. My cousin asked what the difference between country and city ham. She was told country ham is salty and city ham is sweet. She ordered city ham to try to stay away from all the salt. She ordered the sandwich on white bread. They put 1 piece of ham on the sandwich which was very thin and didn't cover the bread. We asked the waitress and she said that's what they put on city ham sandwiches, like there is a difference if it was a country ham sandwich. Most of the other dishes are huge with a lot of food, that's why we used to go to this restaurant. The manager according to the waitress bouģht that sandwich for us and deducted off the bill. If there was a difference in the quality of the different ham sandwiches, the waitress should have said something. That ham sandwich never should have went to a customer and expected a full price. Two pieces of bread and one thin slice of tavern ham.
The decor is cool if your into old farm equipment and LOTS of John Deer toy tractors on shelves all around the inside. Kinda cool especially for our 2 year old boy.
It was something different and something local which is what we were looking for along our drive. The dessert was great, we had a peach cobbler with ice cream. The rest of the food was just okay, which was fine. It's resembles a home cooked meal and I don't cook any better at my home so no complaint.
Best quail I have ever had. Great food. Great service. Family atmosphere.
The food was good. Good prices it wasn't overly expensive yet it wasn't cheaply made either. The staff was nice enough and the place was pretty clean. Furthermore they have a great selection on desserts. Although I was too full to to eat one. I will most likely stop there again just to try their dessert menu.
I would recommend to anyone passing through over a chain restaurant.
