I was looking for wall art unlike the "run-of-the-mill, mass-produced" types. After attending a few local art shows and viewing online sites galore, I discovered Jon Allen's online gallery. Oh yeah--this is it!! He customized a hand-painted 5-panel piece (Divine) for my living room and it's absolutely stunning! I also purchased another one-of-a-kind piece for my bathroom, and needless to say, it takes my bathroom to another dimension (insert enthusiastic somersault here). I also appreciate that each piece is hand-signed and receives a certificate of authenticity. WHAT A FIND! I bought psychedelic rush and the colors are incredible. It even changes tones under cool light or warm light. Carla was super helpful. If you think these pieces of art are stunning on the website, wait until you see them in person. As beautiful as they are, pictures just don't do justice. You actually "experience" something when you see them in person. Stunning, just marvelous. I cannot wait to decorate more with his work! And right in my backyard as I am in DRB! I love my Jon Allen metal art (to be precise, the one i have is called "Titanium Burn"). Even after a long time it being hung on my wall, i still dearly love it and it fits into my ever-changing interior designs. And compared to "normal" art, the light changes the artwork, and how you move around it changes the way you see it - And you can't say that about normal paintings. So for you fellow interior design-wannabes - Go bold when choosing artwork, it surely pays off in the end.
Ordered a sculpture from them. I think the piece is more beautiful in person than the pics, and the pics are great. Packaging is excellent. Even so, I had a slight problem with UPS being a little rough with my shipment, causing a minor problem. I can't say enough good things about Statement2000 and Jon's staff. The level of customer service I received from them was exemplary. This is "old school personal take great care of your customer" customer service....... the kind you don't see much of these days. They stepped up to the plate and made things right immediately for me. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Jon's work and the company!
My first Jon Allen piece was several years ago, Since I've bought several other pieces. Each piece is almost 3d and seems to move. The artist creates a variety of pieces, in virtually any color, Big and small he's got them all. Each is different and unique- the hard part really is exploring his catalogue.
I bought my first Jon Allen original a few years ago from an online shop. The metal art is more beautiful than what any picture or a video clip could express. If Anyone is planning on putting some money into art work for their homes or offices - big or small - they should consider metal art as a valuable option.
